Our Ministries
To effectively minister to the Zambian people, DRIVEN focuses on a holistic approach of ministry starting with the orphaned.
EVANGELISM AND DISCIPLESHIP
DRIVEN provides preaching and evangelistic services and Bible studies within the community and every individual served by organizational programs will be introduced to the Gospel in word and deed and personally discipled by the staff.
HOLISTIC COMMUNITY PROGRAMS AND EDUCATION
Education truly is key to obstructing the cycle of poverty onto the next generation. Sanitation and hygiene, HIV/AIDS prevention, nutrition, infant, marriage and family care, and even English and literacy programs can powerfully alter the trajectory of this generation and those to come.
FARMING AND ANIMAL HUSBANDRY
One of our most important programs is that of equipping individuals and communities to provide food for themselves through gardening and animal husbandry. A small plot, only the size of a door frame, when properly maintained can produce enough food for a family. Building upon one plot at a time, a family can produce enough to sell and make an income for themselves.
TRADE SKILLS AND JOB TRAINING
As each home is built within our Children's Village, Zambian men are trained with trade skills of electrical work, concrete finishing, brick-laying and carpentry, enabling them to be able to provide for their families.
Job skills are especially important for the many women of Zambia. Sewing, cosmetology and crafting classes, such as bead and jewelry making, are simple but highly effective tools to bolster women and families out of the cycle of poverty.
EDUCATIONAL SPONSORSHIPS
Many children have a parent caring for them who doesn't have the means to provide the supplies, uniforms, and shoes necessary to attend school.
Supplying these few things will educate a child producing an immeasurable effect in the nation and future of Zambia
DRIVEN CHILDREN'S VILLAGE
The goal of DRIVEN Children's Village is to empower and bless those families who are already caring for the fatherless in their own country, by bringing them together with additional orphaned children in a safe and loving environment, equipping them through parenting and marriage classes, discipleship programs, farming and gardening techniques and even trade skills and job training.
